Companion Care Details

Connection, routine, and practical support.

Companion care is intentionally non-medical. The plan should focus on the activities, conversation, routines, and practical help that make each visit useful and enjoyable.

Non-medical boundaries

Companions can offer reminders, observation, social support, meals, errands, and light household help. They do not perform nursing assessments or skilled medical procedures.

Activities with purpose

Build visits around favorite music, games, walks, hobbies, conversation, community outings, or simple routines that support connection and wellbeing.

Transportation

Confirm driving expectations, approved destinations, mobility needs, vehicle use, and any mileage or transportation charge before outings are scheduled.

Family communication

Choose who receives visit notes, which changes should trigger an immediate call, and how frequently the care plan and caregiver match should be reviewed.

Schedule and pricing: visit frequency, minimums, and current rates depend on location, timing, and the requested plan. The coordinator provides those details before care begins.
